Hook Block
Crane hook blocks serve as the primary load attachment point and are engineered for maximum strength, safety, and reliability. Wimac hook blocks are designed in accordance with FEM, DIN, and ISO standards and manufactured to deliver long-term performance under demanding operating conditions. Each hook block assembly includes forged steel hooks, precision sheaves, anti-friction bearings, and robust steel side plates.
Wimac offers various hook types including single hooks for standard applications, double hooks for balanced load distribution, laminated hooks for extreme heavy-duty operations, and rotating hooks for precise load positioning. Hook blocks are available with capacities from 1 ton to 500 tons.
Design Factor (Safety Factor): 5:1 ensures a high level of operational safety. A safety latch is provided to prevent accidental load release. The product is manufactured from DIN Class P fine-grained carbon steel (S355J2), offering excellent strength, durability, and reliability under demanding industrial conditions.
The table presents the selection of hook 'P' class according to the number of operations per hour and the duration of use at various load levels (up to 6, 6–18, 18–30, 30–60, and more than 60)
| Number of Operations per Hour | Up to 6 (M3/1Bm) | Between 6 and 18 (M4/1Am) | Between 18 and 30 (M5/2m) | Between 30 and 60 (M6/3m) | More than 60 (M7/4m) |
